As of today (23.4.), a telephone service is also offered in 12 languages. With this we would like to make an offer for the people of Mannheim* for whom the German language is too big a hurdle to inform themselves about the corona virus and the regulations and offers of help that apply to it. Native-speaking colleagues from the city administration can be reached on the telephone number assigned to the respective language in order to answer the callers‘ questions and concerns or to arrange access to the relevant authorities and advice centres. Unfortunately, not all native languages can be considered. However, we are trying to at least add an Arabic-language telephone service.
